Master Dominick Panetta is a 5th degree Black Belt and chief instructor of American Kempo Karate. He was awarded his 5th degree by Sijo Adriano Emperado and 8th degree Professor Rich Fescina on July 15, 2005. He has been studying the Martial Arts for over sixteen years and opened American Kempo Martials Arts in 1994. Master Panetta was recently named the Regional Director for the National Kempo Karate Association. He is also a member of the KSDI Black Belt Society under Grandmaster Adriano D. Emperado and a member of the Pikiti-Tirsia International stick fighting system.

Master Panetta is a certified Tai Chi Ch’uan instructor and is trained in the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Master Panetta has been teaching American Kempo Karate since 1992. Some of the masters that Master Panetta has had the privilege of meeting and gaining knowledge from are; Master Larry Mangone (7th degree Kempo and Tai Chi Master); Renzo Gracie (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Master); Professor Nick Cerio (10th degree Kempo Master); Bill Wallace (Kickboxing Champion); and Fred Villari (Kempo Master). Master Panetta has been influenced by these masters in his own training, but his main focus is teaching the martial arts way to his students.
He believes that he has been given a gift to teach, especially children. It is very rewarding for Master Panetta to watch children learn and grow into positive, productive adults.

All of our Chief Instructors are members of the Kajukenbo Self Defense Institute and appear on the official Kajukenbo Family Tree.
